Dr. Maria Goodloe-Johnson - Superintendent of Seattle Public Schools to Speak November 13th

Please join us this Friday November 13th, for breakfast and a presentation by Seattle Schools Superintendent Dr. Maria Goodloe-Johnson. 

Dr. Maria Goodloe-Johnson was selected by the Seattle School Board on April 12, 2007, as the
Superintendent of Seattle Public Schools. In this role, she directs all learning, teaching and
operational activities for more than 45,000 students and 7,900 staff members. Dr. Goodloe-
Johnson manages an operating budget of $556 million and a capital budget of about
$220 million.
 
During the 2007-2008 school year Dr. Goodloe-Johnson led development of a Strategic Plan. Adopted by the School Board in June 2008, the plan sets bold but achievable goals for student
achievement.
