Food Lifeline Work Party - November 22nd 2008

posted Nov 24, 2008 1:14 PM by Matthew Stubbs
This past Saturday we had an excellent turnout of Rotarians and family members to help repack food at Food Lifeline in Shoreline.

With all the volunteers we were able to repack 17,680 pounds of food from the KOMO Brenden Foster Food Drive this past week.  It was 11
year old Brenden Foster's last wish, before dying of cancer, to help feed those in need.  Brenden died this past Friday.

Thank you to all of you that were able to help.  The food that was repacked this past Saturday will mean 13,812 meals for food bank customers.

Thank you,
